Aerosmith guitarist says Steven Tyler is putting solo pursuits ahead of Aerosmith tour
US rock giants return to Holy Land after 23-year break

US hard rock band Aerosmith, who on Monday announced their upcoming 17-stop farewell tour “Aero-Vederci Baby,” will kick off their final tour in Israel.

The concert, will kick off at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park on May 17, 2017 and will mark the bands' second visit to the Jewish State after a previous concert in 1994.

Tickets to the event went on sale on Monday, ranging from NIS 250 to NIS 870 ($65 to $225).

One of the biggest rock bands in the United States, the award-winning group is known for songs like “Dream On,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Toys In the Attic” and “Back In The Saddle.”

The group consists of lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, drummer Joey Kramer and bassist Tom Hamilton.

"Aerosmith will return across the Atlantic with one of the greatest rock shows ever seen and will undoubtedly be the ultimate must see event of 2017 as the band embark upon this, their 'farewell' tour, saying 'Aero-Vederci Baby!'" a statement from the group said.

The band’s breakup was announced in June.
