Yemeni fighters of the Shiite Huthi movement take part in a demonstration on March 18, 2015 in the Yemeni capital Sanaa

Sunni Yemen has been in turmoil for months since the Iran-backed Shiite rebels, called Huthis, took over Sanaa.

President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi has been trying, without much success, to fight back against the rebels from his stronghold in Aden.

Saudi formed a rare Arab coalition to fight against the Huthis, which included UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Sudan, Pakistan Egypt and Jordan.
