Dor has a Bachelor's degree in communications and management. In the IDF he served in the West Bank. He began his journalistic career at Maariv newspaper as a news desk producer. In 2018, he joined Channel 13 and later the Kan Public Broadcaster he served in a variety of positions. In 2021 he became the local crime reporter on Channel 13.
