Fresh from a performance in Israel, American rap star Azealia Banks on Wednesday unleashed a tweet tirade in which she accused Jews of having complete control over "African-American entertainment industries" and that they "run the world."

In two tweets that were deleted not long after they appeared, Banks picked up on a previous tweet stream in which she lambasted Israelis for being rude and racist.

Things took a darker turn, however, when she wrote that: "Now here us negroes are in 2018 paying for our sins by Jews having complete control over all African American entertainment industries in the US. From hip-hop to basketball and sports... the Jews run and own it all."

"That's what we get for listening to the romans," she added.

She then added to a story told the previous day about an encounter on her flight to Israel last week, during which she said she was offered money for sex by a rabbi she was seated next to.

"When I told [the rabbi] that the reasons Jews run the world is because they survived persecution and came back with a vengeance... and not because they were chosen as god's holy people (that we're all god's holy people) ... he offered me cash in exchange for sex ... I gagged."

In a tweet that remains on her account, she added: "There is a lot of ritual and magick in Judiasm and I could feel it ALL, in Israel. I wasn’t trying to mess with it. That’s the REAL reason I won’t go back. The second reason is the racism."

"But there were maaaaaad dark voodoo vibes in Israel. Whatever spell the rabbi’s put on the land there is what shook me the most. The energy says “GET OUT OF HERE” ... 100%."

Banks, best known for her dance tune "212" won the praise of Israel supporters when she defied pressure from BDS advocates to shun a performance in Israel.

She added in another series of tweets on Wednesday that she wanted time to visit the West Bank and Jerusalem but Israel "got too intense" so she spent most of the time in a hotel.

She praised the crowd who attended her Tel Aviv show as "awesome." It received positive reviews.
