Warner Bros et DC Entertainment
Real-life Wonder Woman Gal Gadot visited a Virginia children’s hospital over the weekend dressed as the Amazon warrior princess.
The Israeli actress, whose breakout role in 2017’s mega-blockbuster “Wonder Woman” launched her to international stardom, posed for photos with patients and staff as she toured the Inova Children’s Hospital in Annandale on Friday.
The 33-year-old former Miss Israel and Israel Defense Force (IDF) fitness trainer has two children of her own with Israeli real estate developer Yaron Varsano and has supported children’s charities in the past.
Gadot is currently filming a “Wonder Woman”, sequel in Washington D.C. titled “Wonder Woman 1984”. The film will see Patty Jenkins return to the helm as director, with Gadot starring alongside Chris Pine, whose character was presumed dead in the first installment, and Kristen Wiig who will play the film’s villain.
“Wonder Woman 1984” is scheduled for release in 2019.
