Florida: Rep. Randy Fine decisively defeats controversial challenger Dan Bilzerian
Randy Fine, Jared Moskowitz and Debbie Wasserman Schultz fend off challengers as Israel, antisemitism and pro-Israel political influence emerge as key campaign issues in Florida's primary race
Florida primary voters handed decisive victories to three incumbent Jewish members of Congress on Tuesday.
In central Florida’s 6th Congressional District, incumbent Republican Representative Randy Fine, a fierce advocate for Israel, secured a decisive victory over internet personality Dan Bilzerian. Fine secured roughly 56.7% of the vote. Bilzerian finished a distant second with approximately 18%.

Bilzerian ran a campaign centered on antisemitic tropes, invoking references to Adolf Hitler in campaign materials, using slurs against Fine, and questioning pro-Israel political influence.
Fine condemned Bilzerian's candidacy as an organized campaign against Jewish leadership, while also facing criticism over his own previous controversial remarks regarding Muslims. The race drew national attention after campaign signs were defaced with swastikas, leading to widespread condemnation from Jewish organizations and bipartisan members of Congress.

In District 25, incumbent Jewish Representative Jared Moskowitz defended his seat against progressive challenger Oliver Larkin, a Democratic Socialists of America-aligned candidate.
Moskowitz, an outspoken pro-Israel voice in Congress who campaigned heavily on combating rising antisemitism and addressing local cost-of-living issues, defeated Larkin, whose platform included calls for systemic campaign finance reform and ending corporate PAC backing.
Veteran Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz won the Democratic primary in Florida’s newly redrawn 20th Congressional District, putting the former DNC chair on course to seek a 12th term in Congress.
A longtime and outspoken supporter of Israel, Wasserman Schultz describes herself as a “staunch supporter” of the Jewish state and its right to live in peace and security. She has consistently backed Israel’s right to defend itself while also supporting a two-state solution, and her stance on Israel became an issue during the primary, with challenger Elijah Manley criticizing both her support for Israel and backing from pro-Israel groups.
