Another antisemitic incident was recorded over the weekend in New Jersey, when a person injured in a car accident refused to receive medical treatment from the emergency teams dispatched to the scene from the "Hatzalah" organization because they were ultra-Orthodox. His response caused a delay in receiving medical treatment, as they were the only medical personnel at the scene of the accident.

The details were revealed by Booky Kaluszyner, a volunteer with the "Hatzalah" organization who was called to the scene.

According to Kaluszyner, the accident involved several vehicles that did not belong to members of the ultra-Orthodox community. Upon his arrival at the scene, Kaluszyner went to provide first aid to one of the injured, who yelled at him, "Bring me the real 911, I don't want 'your kind' to touch me."

The "Hatzalah" volunteers respected his refusal and called the dispatch center to summon the local ambulance services. A few minutes later, two volunteers from the "Toms River" Hatzalah rescue services arrived at the scene and identified themselves to the injured man.

Nevertheless, he still refused to receive medical treatment, since they too were ultra-Orthodox Jews. He repeated the phrase, "I don't want your kind to touch me," and again demanded the "real" emergency teams.

The teams were forced to wait for the arrival of community security officers in order to assess the condition of the injured person. After an initial examination, they requested assistance from paramedics at the scene.

Ironically, the two paramedics who arrived at the location were ultra-Orthodox Jews.

The incident did not end at this point, as the nurse assigned to care for the injured person at the hospital was also ultra-Orthodox.

Kaluszyner concluded his remarks with a pointed message about the absurdity of blind antisemitism, noting that these are people who leave their families and work to help a stranger in distress without asking what his religion is. "One can only wonder whether the patient was more concerned about his injuries or about the religion of the people trying to save his life," Kloshiner wrote. "When hatred becomes more important than your health and safety, perhaps it is time to ask yourself whom this hatred is really hurting."
