For the first time in 7 years, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) arrived to the US on Tuesday for a visit to the White House to meet with senior American officials, headed by US President Donald Trump.

Already during a press meeting at the start of the summit, the two discussed Saudi Arabia's interest in joining the Abraham Accords, and the terms for such an agreement. Later on in the day they are expected to sign a series of deals, including those in the technology, weapons, and trade fields.

"We want to be part of the Abraham Accords, we want to secure a clear path to a two-state solution," said MBS during the summit.

Additionally, it was reported earlier Tuesday that the two will also sign a civilian nuclear cooperation agreement, following Trump’s statement on Monday that he would sell F-35 aircrafts to the kingdom, in direct opposition to the opinion of the Israeli security establishment, which fears a loss of aerial superiority in the skies of the Middle East.

A senior administration official said that expect features from Tuesday included good deals include a multi-billion dollar investment in America’s AI infrastructure, enhanced cooperation on civil nuclear energy, defense sales to enhance defense cooperation between both countries, and fulfillments of the Saudis’ $600 billion investment pledge via dozens of targeted investments.
