Dr. Sebastian Gorka, President Donald Trump's top counterterrorism adviser, outlined the administration's three biggest terrorist threats, its campaign against Iranian networks, and the challenges of deradicalizing Gaza on American View on Wednesday.

Gorka detailed the administration's three counterterrorism priorities.

Gorka identified drug cartels, global jihadist organizations such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda, and left-wing extremist groups including Antifa as the three primary threats facing the United States.

He argued that the administration's new strategy prioritizes combating these organizations through intelligence cooperation, law enforcement and military operations.

Turning to Iran, Gorka described a growing international effort to dismantle Tehran's terrorist networks, particularly across Latin America, Europe and North America.

"This hemisphere has been a playground for the evil, nefarious activities of Iran, but for no longer," he said.

He highlighted the arrest and extradition of an alleged Iranian operative accused of overseeing a network responsible for more than 20 attacks, primarily against Jewish targets.

"The noose is tightening around the neck of the Islamofascist regime in Iran," he declared.

Gorka also addressed Gaza's future, arguing that defeating Hamas militarily would not be enough to achieve lasting peace.

Asked about the Board of Peace's mission to disarm Hamas and deradicalize Gaza, Gorka insisted that the challenge extended beyond political negotiations.

He called for replacing corrupt Palestinian leadership with figures committed to peace, followed by long-term educational and cultural reforms aimed at eliminating radicalization.

Gorka argued that achieving lasting peace would require fundamental changes in Palestinian society, describing the challenge as far more complex than a political settlement.
