British power plant shut down for four days in Iranian cyber-attack - report | LIVE BLOG

It is thought to be the first time that hackers affiliated to the Iranian regime have succeeded in closing down such a facility in the UK according to sources who spoke with the Telegraph

The tensions between Israel and Turkey persist, with Defense Minister Israel Katz now accusing Turkey of getting “caught with its hand in the cookie jar,” speaking regarding the Syrian airbase strike by Israel. Katz says the Israel Defense Forces repeatedly recommended striking Syria’s Abu al-Duhur airbase after receiving “clear intelligence” that Turkey intended to conduct operations there that would endanger Israel’s security. Israel decided to issue a direct warning to Syrian leaders at the highest levels before approving the strike, Katz says, adding that the intelligence was also shared with the US. “Erdogan was caught with his hand in the cookie jar and forced to back down,” Katz exclaimed.

Meanwhile, the IDF continues to operate in Syria, with the Israeli military stating that it had fired at a terrorist in the southern part of the country who was considered an “immediate threat to troops.” The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes, claiming the IDF struck and injured several people in a civilian vehicle traveling between Mazraat Beit Jinn and Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside. The ministry calls the strike a “flagrant violation” of Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity and a breach of international law. READ MORE FROM SATURDAY

While speaking in an interview with Iranian state media Iribnews, Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezai stated that all neighboring Gulf countries should not participate in the economic war alongside the US or will be considered enemies by Iran. Rezai also stated that if they do cooperate with the US, then Iran will consider them enemies and strike their interests
