The current round of efforts to reach a truce in the Iran war between the Islamic Republic and the U.S. and Israel has reached an impasse, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing Pakistani mediators.

Tehran has officially informed the mediators it wasn’t willing to meet with U.S. officials in Islamabad in the coming days and that Washington's demands were unacceptable, the mediators were cited as saying.
