‘Not a single gram’ of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran, says Iranian NSC Secretary
Iran will not negotiate with the US until Washington takes trust-building steps and meets Tehran’s conditions, Iran’s top security official Mohsen Rezaei told Pakistani army chief Asim Munir in Tehran, according to Iranian state media.
Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, wrote on X: “Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran. There will be no negotiations until the United States takes steps to build trust. That process must begin with the full fulfillment of all Iran’s conditions.”
Rezaei also told Munir that Iran will not send “even a single particle” of its enriched nuclear material out of the country, calling it a national asset meant for use inside Iran.
The remarks came hours after a Qatari-owned outlet reported that Munir was carrying a Qatari-Pakistani compromise proposal with US approval and earlier Iranian consent.
