While attending an “Israelis For Peace,” vigil in Union Square Park, anti-Israel demonstrators could be heard shouting things like “Long Live Hamas,” accusing the mayor of being a traitor and sellout


Millions of people across Israel paid their respects, honoring and commemorating the lives lost three years ago on October 7. Dozens of memorial ceremonies were held throughout the country. Both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog both lit memorial candles, with the PM vowing to “Complete the mission,” against Hamas.
Internationally, US President Donald Trump took to social media to pay his respects to the memory of those killed three years ago and in the subsequent war. “Today, we remember every innocent life taken, honor the survivors and their families, and remember the hostages who endured the unthinkable. I fought relentlessly to bring the hostages home and reunite them with their loved ones, and I did, both the living and the dead,” the President said. READ MORE FROM WEDNESDAY
Israeli President Herzog to present award to six people who helped save Flydubai flight FZ1073
Thursday afternoon, President Isaac Herzog will present the Presidential Award for Civilian Heroism to six individuals who were on board the flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30, 2026.
The ceremony will take place at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem.
The award will be presented to Tali Manes, Zvika Manes, Yaniv Hayoun, Dr. Shota Musayev, Asaf Rajuan, and Or Pardilov.

While attending an “Israelis For Peace” vigil in Union Square Park, anti-Israel demonstrators surrounded the memorial ceremony, chanting against New York City Mayor and vocal Israel critic Zohran Mamdani.
Among what could be heard was, “Long Live Hamas,” accusing the mayor of being a traitor and sellout.
Other statements included "You opportunist piece of s***, you coward, shame on you, and How do you let this happen?
“Zohran, you can’t hide; we charge you with genocide,” the protesters yelled in unison, as well as “Mayor Mamdani, take a stand. Stop the sale of stolen land” and “Shame on you.”
