Report: Putin's offer to ship Iranian uranium to Russia rejected by Trump
Putin has floated several schemes for ending the war between Iran and the U.S. and Israel in his call with Trump on Monday

Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to move the Islamic Republic's stocks of enriched uranium to Russia, as part of a deal to end the war, was rejected by his U.S. counterpart, Axis reported on Friday.
Putin has floated several schemes for reaching a truce in the war between the U.S. and Israel, and Iran in his call with President Donald Trump on Monday, the report added.
Earlier on Friday, the U.S. has temporarily eased sanctions on Russian oil by issuing a 30-day waiver allowing countries to purchase Russian crude and petroleum products currently stranded at sea.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the measure aims to stabilize global energy markets disrupted by the ongoing Iran war.
According to the license issued by the US Treasury Department, the waiver authorizes the delivery and sale of Russian crude oil and petroleum products that were loaded onto vessels as of March 12. The exemption will remain valid until midnight Washington time on April 11. Reports indicate that about 124 million barrels of Russian-origin oil are currently at sea across dozens of locations globally.
