Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran that any attack on Israel would be met with “a blow it has never imagined,” saying Tehran and its regional allies had been weakened by recent Israeli military successes. Meanwhile, US forces continued enforcing a maritime blockade against Iran, with CENTCOM reporting that 92 commercial vessels had been diverted, three ships “neutralized” and two others boarded as of September 6.

IDF orders evacuations in southern Lebanon

The IDF on Monday ordered residents to evacuate a designated building and nearby structures in the southern Lebanese village of Deir al-Zahrani, warning that it plans to strike a Hezbollah facility in the area. The military said the action follows Hezbollah’s launch of an explosive drone at Israeli troops, which it described as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement.

Tehran to declare 'no-go' zone fro maritime traffic in Strait of Hormuz

“In the coming days, a prohibited zone will be announced outside the Strait of Hormuz,” Iran’s new Supreme National Security Council chief, Mohsen Rezaei, said Sunday. He warned that any vessel entering the zone would be placed on Iran’s sanctions list, as tensions with the United States intensify following attacks by both sides at sea.
