In a post on Truth Social, US President Trump announced the implementation of the "MOST CRUSHING ECONOMIC OPERATION EVER TAKEN AGAINST ANY COUNTRY!"


A day after Israel struck a military airbase in Syria, Chief of Staff Zamir visited Israeli troops positioned in southern Syria. During the visit, Zamir met with troops and warned that Israel will "not allow hostile forces to establish themselves within our borders." In a separate interview, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu effectively reiterated Zamir's sentiment, stating, "We will not tolerate a Turkish military buildup in Syria that threatens Israel. We made the message clear: Don’t."
Meanwhile, Israel Defense Forces says four Hamas Nukhba commanders, a company commander and 3 platoon commanders, were eliminated in a strike in Gaza's al-Shati area. All eight were involved in advancing attacks against IDF troops and, in one case, infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.
