US, Gulf states condemn Iran missile attacks across region
The joint statement slams strikes on Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE

The United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates issued a joint statement on Monday strongly condemning Iran's missile and drone attacks on sovereign territories across the region. The countries said the strikes hit Bahrain, Iraq (including Iraqi Kurdistan), Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. They said the attacks endangered civilians and damaged infrastructure.
The statement described Iran's actions as “indiscriminate and reckless.” The countries said the Islamic Republic's strikes represent “a dangerous escalation that violates the sovereignty of multiple states and threatens regional stability.” They called the targeting of civilians and countries not engaged in hostilities “reckless and destabilizing behavior.”
“We stand united in defense of our citizens, sovereignty, and territory, and reaffirm our right to self-defense in the face of these attacks,” the coalition said. The countries commended effective air and missile defense cooperation that “prevented far greater loss of life and destruction.” They reaffirmed their commitment to regional security.
The joint condemnation follows US and Israeli strikes on Iran that killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior officials. Iran has launched retaliatory attacks across the Middle East, including against US allies. The Gulf states and the US presented a unified front against the Iranian response.
No specific details on casualties or damage from the Iranian strikes were included in the statement. The countries emphasized coordinated defense efforts amid the escalating regional conflict.
