Over 26 kilometers of underground tunnels dismantled by the IDF in Gaza since ceasefire agreement
The IDF said it will continue to operate against any threat and will contintue to demolish "terror tunnels" in Gaza

The IDF has dismantled over 26 km (16 miles) of underground tunnels east of the Yellow Line since the implementation of a ceasefire last October, the IDF announced on Wednesday.
In the past week alone, over one kilometer of tunnels in northern Gaza were destroyed by the IDF.

Before demolition, tunnels are mapped and then primed with explosives to collapse the tunnel. After detonation, concrete is pumped into the tunnel and the entrances are sealed with debris.
"IDF troops will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat," the IDF said.
This announcement comes just a few days after an IDF raid into Gaza with the support of anti-Hamas militias to capture a senior Hamas commander.
The success of the raid, and lack of Hamas response, suggest that efforts to reduce Hamas's capabilities in the Gaza Strip have been largely successful.
