Party lists for the Knesset close today, Netanyahu waits until last moment to submit his reserved slots
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to publish this morning the list of reserved spots in Likud, after yesterday ignoring an ultimatum from the court


The party lists for the Knesset will close Tuesday, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expected to publish this morning the list of reserved spots in Likud. At 2 pm, the Likud Secretariat is expected to approve Netanyahu’s reserved spots in Jerusalem.
From 4-10 p.m candidate lists must be submitted, though depending on the committee chair’s decision, the process may continue until midnight.
Representatives of the competing parties also arrived at the Knesset building yesterday to submit their lists of candidates to the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Sohlberg.

Netanyahu ignored an ultimatum from his party's court, and the Likud list was not published. At the same time, he announced that he would petition the district court if a secret ballot was ordered. Later, he informed the Likud court that he would publish the names of the reserved slots on Tuesday.
