Speculation over a possible entry into politics by Yoseph Haddad is now taking a more concrete turn. The pro-Israel activist has reportedly registered a new political party, “Brave Israel,” together with several associates, while continuing talks with a range of political parties and figures.

For several weeks, Haddad’s name has been circulating prominently in Israeli political circles. The possibility of him joining Likud has been raised in particular, although no such move has been confirmed at this stage.

The registration of “Brave Israel” nevertheless suggests that the Arab-Israeli activist, who is a prominent and outspoken defender of Israel in the public arena, is seriously considering running under an independent political framework. At the same time, he has been holding meetings with various political figures to assess his options before making a final decision.

A former Golani Brigade soldier who was seriously wounded in Lebanon, Haddad has never concealed his interest in public life. Having recently returned from an advocacy campaign in the United States, he is expected to clarify his intentions in the near future and decide under which political banner he will pursue his public activities.

His entourage remains cautious for now. Asked recently about reports of a possible rapprochement with Likud, Haddad neither confirmed nor denied the possibility, saying only that any decision regarding his political future would be announced by him personally.
