Israeli woman injured by rocket dies a year after attack
Nina Gisdenanova was inside her building when it was hit by a direct rocket attack, killing one man


A 74-year-old Israeli woman who was critically wounded when a rocket her apartment building in Ashkelon last November has died of her injuries, Israeli media reported Sunday.
Nina Gisdenanova was inside her home in a four-story building that was directly hit by a rocket during a major flare-up between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Gisdenavoa died of her injuries last week at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel's Tel Shomer.
"We offer sympathies to the Gisdenanova family from Ashkelon on the death of their mother, Nina, who was seriously injured in the last round of fighting that we had in the city," the Ashkelon municipality wrote in a statement.
The November 13 attack killed one in Ashkelon, a 48-year old Palestinian man, Mahmoud Abu Asbah, a resident of the West Bank town of Halhul whose wife was also seriously injured in the attack.
In the 24 hours of rocket fire, Israeli police said one person was killed over 50 were injured.
