El Al launches rescue flights from Bangkok after attempted FlyDubai hijacking

El Al has launched special rescue flights to return Israelis in Thailand following the attempted hijacking of the Flydubai flight earlier on Wednesday.

The flights were launched after numerous requests from Israelis seeking to return home.

The flight from Tel Aviv to Bangkok (LY083) will depart on October 2 at 00:30, and the return flight bringing passengers back from Bangkok to Tel Aviv (LY094) will depart on October 4 at 02:00.

Tickets will be available through the El Al website.
