Damari was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7. She was held for 471 days before being released in January 2025, along with Romi Gonen and Doron Steinbrecher.
In the video, Damari can be seen wearing a shirt with the name of her dog Chucha, who was killed in front of her on October 7.
At the end of the video Damari holds up her hand, which is missing several fingers after they were shot off during her kidnapping.
Since her release, Damari has spoken repeatedly about the rise of antisemitism across the world and fought to keep alive the memory of those lost on October 7.
Damari also married her partner Danielle Amit in Tel Aviv in August of this year.
Several of the Hamas members who held Damari were eliminated by the IDF, including Muhammad Nasser Ali Kanita, her primary captor, who Damari characterized as the "face of evil."
