Six foreign workers were injured by the explosion of a munitions item near Metula, two in serious condition
The explosion in an orchard near Metula: two are in serious condition with multi-system trauma, one is in moderate condition, and three are lightly injured


Six foreign workers were injured Tuesday by the explosion of a munition item in an open area near Metula in northern Israel. Magen David Adom medics and paramedics, in cooperation with an IDF medical team, provided the injured with medical treatment at the scene.
Three of the injured were evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Hospital: two men around 40 years old in serious condition, with multiple-system injuries, and another man around 40 years old in moderate condition, with a chest injury. Three additional people, in mild condition, were evacuated by Magen David Adom ambulances to Ziv Hospital.
Moti Barel, a senior MDA paramedic, said that the injured were conscious and suffered bodily injuries. According to him, the teams conducted an initial triage, stopped bleeding, and provided medication, and later evacuated the wounded by helicopter and ambulances while continuing medical treatment.
