Time magazine lists Israeli actress Shira Haas in top 100 'Emerging People'
These rising stars of 2021 will 'shape the future of entertainment, health, politics and business'

Israeli actress Shira Haas, who was revealed in Netflix's "Unorthodox" mini-series last year, is listed in the Top 100 "Emerging People" of 2021 by Time magazine, the ranking of which was released on Wednesday.
This list, dubbed "TIME100 Next," lists the rising stars of the year 2021 who will "shape the future of entertainment, health, politics and business."
These personalities are "doctors and scientists who fight the Covid-19, defenders of equality and justice, journalists defending the truth and artists sharing their visions of the present and the future," the magazine stipulated.
“Everyone on this list is about to make history,” said Dan Macsai, editorial director of TIME 100 Next.
This development comes as Haas was nominated in early February at the Golden Globes Award in the "mini-series and TV movies" category.
In summer 2020, the Israeli star was nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards 2020 for Lead Actress in a Limited Series, again for her role in "Unorthodox."
Unorthodox received eight nominations in total, including Best Limited Series.
