The Israeli military said on Monday that it had destroyed a Hamas tunnel several hundred yards long in the northern Gaza Strip as part of ongoing operations targeting the group's underground infrastructure.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), troops from the Northern Gaza Brigade and the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit, operating under the 99th Division, carried out the demolition during operations east of the "Yellow Line."

The IDF released video footage showing the tunnel's destruction, saying the operation was conducted during engineering activities to clear the area of terrorist infrastructure.
The military added that Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire framework and will continue to act against any immediate threats.
