IDF eliminates man who drove motorcycle in Noa Argamani abduction on October 7th

Israeli forces killed Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr in an airstrike Saturday in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza, according to a statement from the IDF.

Sakr drove the motorcycle seen carrying Noa Argamani away from the Nova music festival during the Hamas-led attack on Oct. 7, 2023.

The IDF and ISA said the strike was carried out with Gideonim Unit 33 of Israel’s Lahav 433 police division. They described Sakr as affiliated with global jihadist organizations in Gaza and said he had supplied weapons to Hamas during the war.

The agencies also alleged that Sakr had recently worked with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives to plan attacks on Israeli troops and civilians, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. They said they used precision munitions and aerial surveillance to reduce the risk to civilians.

Video of Argamani being taken from the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im became one of the most widely seen images of the Oct. 7 attack. Her then-partner, Avinatan Or, was abducted separately.

Israeli forces rescued Argamani from Nuseirat on June 8, 2024, along with Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv. The operation was named for Arnon Zmora, an Israeli counterterrorism officer who died of wounds sustained during the rescue.

Or remained in captivity until October 13, 2025, when he was released after 738 days.
