Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a second limited security cabinet meeting within 24 hours on Monday, following an earlier high-level security consultation. An Israeli official told i24NEWS, "There is a high level of alert ahead of a possible resumption of the war by the end of the week."

The back-to-back sessions follow Netanyahu's phone conversation with Trump on Sunday. According to informed sources, Trump updated the prime minister on his recent visit to China, but the call yielded no clear resolution on the path forward. Preparations for all scenarios are continuing, with intensive coordination underway between Jerusalem and Washington. This all comes ahead of what officials are calling a potential "moment of truth."

The 30-minute call between Netanyahu and Trump on Sunday focused on the possibility of renewing fighting in Iran. Following the call, Trump posted a warning to Iran on his Truth Social platform. "For Iran, the clock is ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won't be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!" he wrote.
