Captain Eliav Haim Tzapalamus was killed and three IDF soldiers were lightly injured Thursday when a Hummer overturned during operational activity by a 7th Brigade force in the Litani area of southern Lebanon. Trump is reportedly considering three days of intensive strikes against Iran

US President Donald Trump has asked the Pentagon to prepare several scenarios for resuming military operations against Iran, the New York Times reports. Among the options under consideration is an intensive three-day strike campaign targeting Iranian missile and drone arsenals, energy infrastructure, and various military installations. This plan was reportedly discussed last Friday at Camp David. According to the newspaper, security officials have proposed large-scale military operations against Iran or the Houthis in Yemen five times in recent months, but Trump has consistently rejected them. The US president is now seriously considering this new offensive, while having stated on Thursday that no strikes would be launched before the November 3 midterm elections.

Iran rules out halting uranium enrichment or surrendering stockpile

Iran will not abandon uranium enrichment or hand over its enriched uranium stockpile, nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami said Thursday, according to state broadcaster IRIB. The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran also said inspections of nuclear facilities damaged by US-Israeli attacks remain impossible because of continuing security threats.
