CNN reported that the Prime Minister presented the President of the United Arab Emirates with new and disturbing intelligence about the renewal of activity in Iran’s nuclear program
During his meeting in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, new intelligence indicating that Iran is resuming its activity in its nuclear program, according to a new CNN report overnight. Among the information shared reportedly by Netanyahu were details about new construction at the Pickaxe Mountain site in Iran, which is considered a key location for possible Iranian efforts to restore the nuclear program.
An Israeli source familiar with the visit told CNN that the main topic at the surprise meeting was Iran, a front on which the two countries have deepened their cooperation, including during the recent round of fighting.
The Prime Minister's Office also stated that the meeting focused on "strengthening the relations between the two countries and on regional challenges." The visit included Netanyahu's wife, the National Security Council head, the head of the Mossad, the military secretary, and an additional political advisor.

A senior official from the Saudi and Libyan security services was also present at the meeting. The discussions also focused on recent regional developments, including the Houthi militia in Yemen, the vital Bab al-Mandab waterway at the mouth of the Red Sea, as well as the Strait of Hormuz.
The surprise visit took place exactly one month before the elections, against the backdrop of the uproar surrounding reports by "Haaretz" and "The New York Times" claiming that bin Zayed warned Netanyahu of a major Hamas operation just days before October 7.
The Atlantic reported separately that the head of Egyptian intelligence, Abbas Kamel, flew to Israel on September 26, 2023, to warn that Gaza would "explode." And on Sunday, The Wall Street Journal reported that at least three Egyptian warnings about Gaza were passed on to Israel, the most recent of which was in a phone call with Netanyahu, just days before the attack.
