A horrific crime between Baqa al-Gharbiyye and Jatt: three bodies found inside a burned car

Israeli police announced early Sunday morning that three men were found dead inside a car that had caught fire in an open area between the towns of Baqa al-Gharbiyye and Jatt. Police said the identities of the deceased are not yet known, while initial investigations indicate that the background of the incident appears to be criminal.

The bodies of the three men were found in the back seat of the burned car. So far, the police have not announced any arrests of suspects. Large forces were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident has begun.

For its part, the Magen David Adom organization reported that its teams arrived at the scene after receiving a call through the 101 emergency center. After extinguishing the fire, paramedics found three men inside the car with no signs of life, and their deaths were declared at the scene.

Paramedics from Magen David Adom said that upon their arrival, they saw a burning car, and after the firefighting operations, it turned out that there were three unconscious men, with no pulse or breathing, and nothing could be done except to announce their deaths.

A series of shooting incidents

The incident occurred amid a series of violent crimes that have taken place in various areas overnight. Before the car fire, a young woman, about 18 years old, was seriously injured as a result of a shooting in the Negev. She was taken to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva after ambulance crews found her near the Idan HaNegev Junction on Route 40.

One of the paramedics said that the young woman was in a confused state of consciousness and was suffering from a penetrating injury. The crews provided her with life-saving treatment that included stopping the bleeding and administering medication before quickly transferring her to the hospital, where her condition was described as serious and unstable.

In Umm al-Fahm, a man around 40 years old was seriously injured, and another man around 30 years old sustained minor injuries as a result of a shooting as well. They were both taken to HaEmek Hospital in Afula.

Additionally, a 14-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting incident in the village of Kafr Kanna, which was described as having a criminal background. Another boy, aged 16, was seriously injured in a shooting incident in Jaljulia.

According to the data presented in the report, 173 people have been killed in the Arab community in Israel since the beginning of the year, amid the continued escalation of violence and shootings.
