From 'Heil Hitler' to Shalom Aleichem, is Kanye West going to perform in Israel?
Mako reported that the rapper 'agreed in principle' to come to Israel as part of his tour, even as European countries cancel his shows and block his entry

According to a report from the Israeli news outlet, Mako, Kanye West is on his way to perform in Israel. After receiving several offers to bring his show to Israel, the controversial producer-turned-rapper has agreed in principle to come to Israel as part of his tour, and financial terms are now being discussed.
Music industry officials say his desire to perform there likely stems from his wish to prove the sincerity of his apology to the Jewish people. This "I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to rectifying the situation," he said in April.
The apology followed years of escalating conduct. West threatened to go "death con 3" on Jewish people in October 2022, praised Adolf Hitler and sold swastika T-shirts.
In May 2025, he released a music video titled "Heil Hitler," featuring Nazi imagery and the lyric "So I became a Nazi, I'm the villain." It surpassed one million views.
The planned show comes after years of antisemitic controversy. In early 2026, West issued a lengthy public apology, attributing his behavior to an undiagnosed brain injury and a bipolar disorder diagnosis. "I lost touch with reality," he wrote. "I'm not a Nazi or an anti-Semite. I love Jews."
West met with Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto in November 2025, where he expressed remorse for his remarks toward Jews. He last performed in Israel in 2015 at the Ramat Gan Stadium.
