Wizz Air to add dozens of flights, routes will resume from across Europe to Ben Gurion Airport
The budget airline announced a significant expansion: Catania, London Gatwick, Venice, Cluj, and Iași will be new routes, alongside increased frequency to Budapest, Rome, Milan, Warsaw, and more
The budget airline Wizz Air announced Monday a significant expansion of its operations in Israel, with the addition of 46 weekly flights: the resumption of five new routes and increased frequency on 11 existing routes.
The flights are already available for purchase on the company's website and the Wizz app.
Five new lines: The new routes that started operating this week
Catania – 4 weekly flights
London Gatwick – 5 weekly flights
Venice - 3 weekly flights
Cluj - 2 weekly flights
Yashi - 2 weekly flights
Increased frequency on 11 destinations
At the same time, Wizz Air is increasing the weekly flight frequency to the following destinations:
Budapest: from 14 to 21 weekly flights
Milan: from 7 to 14
Bucharest: from the 11th to the 14th
Rome: from 12 to 14
Bratislava: from 5 to 7
Naples: from 5 to 7
Sofia: from 6 to 7
Athens: from 5 to 7
Vilnius: from 2 to 4
Warsaw: from 4 to 5
Varna: from 2 to 3
