Israeli and Palestinian clocks go forward at different times - wherever they are.

Daylight savings time was supposed to come into effect in the West Bank and Gaza on Saturday early morning, with clocks going forward one hour.
But many seemed to have missed the bus, literally, including Palestinian authorities, who reportedly made no official announcement, while some electronic devices registered the change automatically.
Twice a year, Palestinians and Israelis move to different time zones, as Daylight Savings Time comes in and out at different dates.
Although Palestinian institutions work with the new time, many people in the West Bank don’t.
Israeli settlers, which number around 400,000, stick to Israeli time, taking with them entire swathes of the Palestinian economy.

The growing reliance on phones as time pieces means many miss the change.
Although the Palestinian territories have their own international dialing code (+970), many use Israel's, as Palestinian companies rely on Israeli infrastructure.
Like everything in the region, international dialing codes are also a political issue, with most of Israel’s neighbors blocking access to +972 numbers.
Syria’s telecom agency blocks access to both +972 and +970 access codes.
The region will reconcile at the end of next week, with Israel advancing to Daylight Savings Time, or Israel Summer Time, on March 29th.
