Nasrallah: Israel on 'high alert' following killing of key Iranian scientist
Outgoing President Trump 'suffers from megalomania' and could strike in Mideast, Hezbollah chief says
Israel is on high alert after killing key Iranian nuclear program scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said on Sunday in a televised interview with Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen.
Against the backdrop of reports last week on an Israeli submarine making its way toward the Persian Gulf, the Hezbollah chief stressed that his organization is not aware of any Israeli vessel entering the region.
The leader of the Shi'ite paramilitary group and political party boasted of doubling its arsenal of precision missiles, and threatened Hezbollah could hit anywhere in Israel.
Nasrallah further mentioned the incoming US administration, saying that Jerusalem is “worried” about the foreign policy in the Middle East US President-elect Joe Biden will employ during his presidency.
Biden has stressed on a number of occasions his preference to rejoin the nuclear deal struck with Iran by the international community in 2015, led by then-President Barack Obama and himself as Vice President.

On the outgoing president, Nasrallah said that US President Donald Trump “suffers from megalomania” and is “very angry right now,” therefore he could act militarily in the region before stepping out of office on January 20.
Nasrallah also claimed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman asked Trump to assassinate him, adding that his organization is ready to pay any price, even if a war would ensue because of it.
The interview on the Hezbollah-affiliated broadcaster was conducted near to the first anniversary of the killing of top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani by a US drone near the Baghdad International Airport.
