After last night’s restricted discussion on Iran and other regional issues, Prime Minister Netanyahu held another security consultation Friday afternoon. Israeli officials assess that a U.S. strike on Iran is still not a done deal.
Jerusalem does not rule out that President Trump is pursuing “gunboat diplomacy”, seeking an agreement through military pressure. Officials who spoke to i24NEWS warn that a deal leaving the Ayatollah regime in power while merely curbing its nuclear program would be a tremendous missed opportunity for the Middle East and a major blow to the Iranian people, who have lost thousands of friends and family in hope for a change of the regime under the belief that the world would come to their aid.
