Troops and Border Police remove dozens from Qusra home after violent clashes; Palestinian woman evacuated for treatment

Israeli troops and Border Police were dispatched to the West Bank village of Qusra following reports that Israeli rioters had entered the area and clashed with Palestinians and other civilians, throwing stones, the IDF and Border Police said in a joint statement Saturday.
When security forces arrived, they found dozens of Israeli rioters barricaded inside a Palestinian home while Palestinian residents were still inside. Forces removed the rioters and separated the groups in order to protect those in the house. Palestinian injuries were reported, including a woman who was evacuated by the Red Crescent for medical treatment.
Security forces also confiscated vehicles suspected of having been used by the rioters to reach the village. The vehicles and other evidence collected at the scene were transferred to the police's West Bank district as part of an investigation. Troops and Border Police remain deployed around Qusra and nearby Jalud to prevent further unrest and restore order, the statement said.
