Iranian lawmaker Mojtaba Zarei warned of a stronger response to any new US attack after President Donald Trump rejected Tehran’s proposal. In a post on X, Zarei said Iran had “read his hand and has its fingers on the trigger,” accusing Trump of preparing a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. Such an attack, he said, would face “more severe, broader, more diverse” responses.
