The IRGC responds to Trump's statements about the war in Iran

"Trump started the war by lying to the American people, but now Iran's responses have left him in a state of confusion and helplessness," the IRGC said, according to Iranian State TV.

The IRGC's spokesperson added, "Iran's armed forces are awaiting the US naval fleet in the Strait of Hormuz and the USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier. The end of the war is in Iran's hands."

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemns Iran-linked attacks in call with Iraqi PM

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Iraqi PM Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani on Monday, strongly condemning attacks by Iran and Iran-aligned militia groups in Iraq, according to the US State Department.

Rubio specifically referenced attacks targeting areas including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and stressed the importance of protecting US personnel. Both sides reiterated the need for the Iraqi government to take all possible measures to safeguard US diplomatic staff and facilities in the country.
