Calev Ben-David

Calev Ben-David has reported on Israel and the Middle East for over three decades. He is currently co-anchor on i24NEWS' daily news program, `The Rundown,' and a political-diplomatic analyst for the channel.

His prior positions include: managing editor of The Jerusalem Post; Israel bureau chief for Bloomberg News; political/diplomatic correspondent for IBA News; and senior arts editor of The Jerusalem Report. He has provided commentary for such outlets as CNN, BBC, Al-Jazeera, PBS and many others. He was a contributing author to the book 'Yitzhak Rabin: Warrior for Peace,' and is a winner of the Rockower Award for the Best in Jewish Journalism. He was the founding director of The Israel Project's Jerusalem office, and taught journalism at the Herzliya Inter/Disciplinary Center's School of Communication.

Born in New York, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, and lives in Jerusalem with his wife and two daughters.
