Iran: Documents reveal Russian contract for 90 missile launchers - report
According to Fox News, defense industry records reportedly outline a production schedule, but do not establish whether the equipment reached Tehran

Russia planned to manufacture 90 precision missile launchers for Iran before the war with the United States, according to defense industry documents disclosed by Fox News.
The records, obtained by the Ukrainian group Dallas Analytics, describe a contract designated “K-10” for 90 APU-L twin launchers. Deliveries of components were scheduled from late 2024 through December 2025, although the documents do not confirm that the completed launchers were delivered.
The equipment is designed to carry LMUR guided missiles, also known as Kh-39s. Those weapons can be mounted on Russian Mi-28 attack helicopters, which Iran has announced it acquired.
Other procurement records appear to connect the contract’s code name to Tehran. An October 2022 request for equipment for Yak-130 aircraft explicitly identifies the customer as “K-10 Iran.” Separate documents refer to six Yak-130s for the same customer. Iranian media reported in September 2023 that the aircraft had entered service.
The reported agreement adds to questions about the extent of Russian military support for Iran. President Donald Trump said last month that he did not believe Moscow was assisting Tehran in the conflict.
Several news reports citing US intelligence assessments, however, have alleged that Russia supplied information about American military facilities, satellite imagery and weapons components. US officials maintain that such assistance has not decisively affected American operations.
Washington has also continued efforts to disrupt Iran’s military procurement networks. This week, the State Department imposed sanctions on a Russia-based individual accused of helping Tehran acquire Chinese air defense systems.
