Live Nation Israel announces Boy George will perform in Israel on November 4 as part of international tour
The British pop star's Tel Aviv show comes at a time when performances by international artists in Israel have become rare, following months in which he has publicly voiced support for Israel and Jews
Boy George will perform on November 4 at the Menora Mivtachim Hall in Tel Aviv as part of an international tour, Live Nation Israel announced Tuesday. The show will be staged in a 360-degree format, with the stage positioned at the center of the hall.
In the official announcement video, Boy George told his supporters that it was "my honor to come to Israel, and I hope you will all be there to celebrate an evening of love, positivity, and good vibes."
George has expressed public support for Israel and the Jewish community in recent months. During Eurovision 2026, where he appeared as a guest artist with the San Marino delegation, he refused to join calls to boycott the contest over Israel's participation and said he would not turn his back on his Jewish friends.
In July, he released the song "We Will Dance Again," dedicated to victims of the October 7 massacre at the Nova Festival. In the song, he voices support for Israel, pushes back on claims that it is committing genocide in Gaza, and criticizes artists who speak out against the country.

George rose to fame in the 1980s as lead singer of Culture Club, known for hits including "Karma Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me." He has performed in Israel before, appearing at the Menorah Hall in 2017 and hosting Dana International.
Tickets for the November show range from 280 to 799 shekels ($90-$260), with sales opening Wednesday, September 23, at noon.
