Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brig.-Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the new military radar systems installed in Yazd province (central Iran) were among "the best in the world," The Jerusalem Post reported on Wednesday.

"These radars can detect [missiles or drones] within a radius of 350 km and up to an altitude of 1,000 km," Hajizadeh said, adding that Iranian military capabilities "were definitely in the top 10 in the world."

Tal Inbar, independent Israeli analyst and Former Head of the Space and UAV Research Center at the Fisher Institute, reported that the "Islamic Republic has set up two other three-dimensional surveillance radars of very long range, both of which have an approximate range of approximately 1,100 km."
